Norm`s Restaurant in Hanover

First time very impressed with the home cooked meals. Deffinately going back.

Service was great and who doesn't enjoy tater tots. Clean and an old school diner feel makes it a cozy spot for breakfast. Exclusively had breakfast but will update a lunch and dinner review in the future.

We came to visit family and stayed for the food. Norm's had great food, the service was amazingly fast and friendly, the portions huge, and the prices were terrific. If you find yourself in Hanover this is the breakfast place you deserve.

Great cheap breakfast

My wife and I eat here almost weekly and they never fail to make us a fantastic meal. Service is outstanding, and they are very accommodating for our 7 month old daughter.

Fist time here and fully satiated. Excellent service, great food, cool and cozy atmosphere. We'll be back!

Good food and good price

Nice clean family place to eat. Good service and large servings for those hearty eaters.The cost I also found was quite affordable.

Here is a small local restaurant that is worth a stop. Great atmosphere and food with quick service. I had the soup of the day and it was wonderful. A personable server with a good sense of humour made me laugh and feel welcome in the restaurant. I had a good Reuben sandwich and ended with an apple caramel pie. I left very stuffed and happy.

Delicious, friendly and accommodating. I got the mac and cheese burger, and it was tasty, but it was a bit small for the price. The other people with me enjoyed their dish as well, and those portions seemed normal size, it's possible I just got a small burger. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere is comfy, with a very classic diner interior, with the stools at the front counter for those wanting a quick bite.I will certainly return, as the prices are good and they have good variety.

Great value and taste. I enjoyed the Sunday special wit French toast. Perfect eggs!!

Awesome service!! I just called to get a Norms gift certificate for my dad for his birthday. Not only was the staff member super friendly, but she offered to buy a birthday card and mail it too.

This was and still is my favorite local diner. We always make a stop here when travelling to Sauble beach. Excellent sized portions and friendly staff. The food is amazing as well... My fave is the fish and chips.

Good breakfast, served pretty quick, but the server was not the most pleasant person Haha.

Went during an event. Long wait for food. Ordered All you can eat pancakes. Got 2 small pancakes. Asked for more and never recived. When I asked agian i was told there to busy cooking for everyone else and id have to keep waiting. At this point the 5 other people I was with were done eating their entire meals. 3 paid and left. Continued to wait but my toddler was done sitting and getting in their way. When we decided to pay and leave the waitress seemed annoyed i wasnt willing to keep waiting. Went there hungry, left hungy. Wont be returning.

Great breakfast, pleasant service, and the right price. Wasn't a give fan of the sausage, but everything else was exactly the way it's supposed to be.

It's got that small-town, cozy vibe going on. Their prices are very reasonable, I usually get their all day breakfast and I've never been disappointed. What you see is what you get with Norm's diner, and they provide a lovely, quick, homestyle diner meal with a smile. The only real downside here is parking can occasionally be a small hassle, but it's a minor issue.

We came well after the busy times but I can see that parking may be an issue during busy times. The restaurant has an old school feeling with the booths and counter seats. Could use with a little more lighting inside. The washroom was clean and tidy. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food we ordered came really quickly. The French fries were lightly salted and fried just enough. The chicken salad sandwich could use a little more filling, although the chicken salad was well seasoned and creamy (not too much mayo unlike at other places). It also came with a nice crunchy pickle. The homemade pies looked delicious, sadly we didn't get a chance to try it. Hopefully next time when we are in the area.

Staff were friendly and patient with new covid procedures. Food was very yummy. We went there for brunch. Decent portion sized. Would definitely go again and try the lunch menu!!!

This is the third time we have eaten at Norm's and it's always consistent the eggs are great the sausage and bacon were cooled to perfection and the service is always top notch I would definitely recommend having breakfast at Norm's!!

Had breakfast there, and it was great! Nice atmosphere, coffee was decent, service was friendly and quick, prices are great and the quality of the breakfast meat was really good (I had sausages my husband had ham). Good portion sizes as well. We took some pie home, and I'm really glad we did! Some of the best resteraunt pie I've had (we got a piece of caramel apple and peach). Definately going back.

Great place for a meal at decent prices! Big servings! Always try coming here when in town.

So cool to visit a restauarant that my mom visited as a child. Food is standard cafe fare. Very inexpensive.

Stopped for a great lunch on our way though town! It’s Covid so we ate outside on the patio. Well organized, friendly staff, wasn’t the fastest service ever but the Reuben as delicious, the burgers good and the fish and chips got a thumbs up too! They’ve been around forever...local owned...a pleasure to support them! Go eat there!
